About

I'm Head of Education at Platzi, where I've spent a little over six years. I started in community, moved through B2B account management, built our English Academy up to 1M+ students, and now I lead all of Platzi's educational content.
The thread through all of it is a thing I call collaborative creation, the idea that everyone should contribute to both the vision and the process, not just execute someone else's plan. I've learned more from the people who challenged me than from the ones who agreed with me, and most of what I know is really just the sum of all the lessons I've received from mentors and teammates along the way.
I've also found a real love for building product. Not just commissioning it, actually getting my hands into it, shipping the thing, or at least the MVP of the thing! Lately that's meant a lot of work with AI: figuring out where it genuinely changes how someone learns, and where it's just noise. That work is also what I advise other teams on now, quietly, for a small number of people who are chasing the same questions.
Outside of work I tinker. I've built a mod for a videogame I love, and I'm working on being fluent in both of the worlds I live between, the English-speaking tech world and the Latin American one. The point isn't which language, it's the distance you can close between two places that don't usually talk to each other.
If any of that overlaps with what you're working on, I'd love to hear about it.
